New Pterosaur Discovered
A jawbone discovered outside of Dallas, Texas, by an amateur fossil hunter has been identified as a
new species of needle-toothed pterosaur
(
Aetodactylus halli
), only the second such ornithoceirid specimen ever found in North America.
