Thunderstorms Create Antimatter
NASA's orbiting Fermi Gamma-ray Telescope has detected unexpected
positron bursts
originating from lightning flashes in thunderstorms on the surface, such radiation focused into a beam by Earth's magnetic field and directed out into space.
