3000-Year-Old Turkish Lion
Archaeologists have unearthed a
Tayinat gate complex
to the ancient citadel of Kunulua, the capital of the Neo-Hittite Kingdom of Patina in Turkey that flourished about 3000 years ago, including a magnificently carved Iron Age lion.
